Christina Gordon Cathedral City Councilmember

Christina Gordon has spent nearly 20 years leading communications departments in nonprofit organizations. With experience in education, workforce development, legal advocacy, and STEM, Christina brings a broad set of knowledge to the Cathedral City City Council. Christina started her own communications consulting business in 2025, working with companies and nonprofit organizations to make their communications stronger and more effective. She employs strategic thinking and emotional intelligence to make the most of every opportunity – including her role as a member of the Cathedral City City Council.

A proud Cathedral City resident, Christina has lived in the Coachella Valley since 2017. She has served on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, leading the Resource Development and Communications Committee from 2024 until her appointment to the City Council. She currently serves on the Coachella Valley Association of Governments Homelessness Committee, representing Cathedral City.

She has a bachelor's degree in English from Wittenberg University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at The Colleges of Law through the Hybrid J.D. program, where she has earned Dean's List status for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. She will complete her degree in December 2026. Christina is passionate about public service, equity, and a really good meal, and you can often find her at the various events around Cathedral City or at one of the many restaurants in town.
