The Cathedral City Police Department provides a secure Online Police Reporting System that allows members of the community to report certain non-emergency crimes online. This service is available 24 hours a day and allows you to submit a report and print a copy for your records at no cost.

If this is an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

You may file a report online if all of the following conditions apply:

• The incident occurred within Cathedral City limits
• There are no known suspects
• The incident did not occur on a state freeway
• There is no physical evidence (fingerprints, video, or serial numbers)
• The incident does not involve a stolen vehicle or firearm

After submitting your report, you will receive a confirmation message and a police report case number. You will be able to print a copy of the report for your records. All online reports are reviewed by a law enforcement officer, and you may be contacted if additional information is required.

Important: Filing a false police report is a crime.
