Starting July 1, 2025, the Desert Recreation District (DRD) will maintain Esperanza, Ocotillo, Panorama, Century, and Dennis Keat soccer parks, while also providing:
- Recreation programming in Cathedral City parks and local facilities
- Summer operation of the Cathedral City High School pool
- Park attendants to monitor facilities and address issues
- Access to DRD events and programs throughout their service area
Measure W, which received approval from 74% of voters in November 2024, funds critical improvements to emergency medical services, neighborhood street paving, and integration with the Desert Recreation District (DRD). Park Located at the intersection of Avenida Maravilla and Tachevah Drive, the 7.5 acre Panorama Park is Cathedral City's largest park. Nestled in the center of the city's Panorama neighborhood, Panorama Park has ample space for family gatherings and outdoor recreation.
Panorama Park is also one of the city's oldest parks. Originally set aside as a public park in 1960 and Dedicated June 4, 1989 after undergoing a dramatic facelift adding numerous activities and sporting areas. Amenities include:

Also featured at Panorama Park is a children play area and spray pool. Rubberized surfacing surrounding the play areas helps keep your child's play time safe.
