Community Clean-Up Program

Are there neglected or debris-filled areas in your neighborhood that you would like to bring back to life? Do you need to earn some community services hours for school, a local club or work? The City is excited to partner with you to help turn these blighted areas into clean, safe places for your enjoyment. If a church or local group, or a collection of neighbors is interested in transforming a part of the City by hosting a clean-up event, there are just a few simple steps to follow:

·Contact Deanna Pressgrove, the Environmental Conservation & Public Works Manager, to schedule and coordinate your event.

·The City will provide you with the tools you will need to complete the project, such as shovels, trash bags, gloves and any other essential items.

·Once your event is done, make sure that all debris is properly bagged and placed at the curb for pickup by Public Works the next business day.
