Community Clean-Up Program
Are there neglected or debris-filled areas in your neighborhood that you would like to bring back to life? Do you need to earn some community services hours for school, a local club or work? The City is excited to partner with you to help turn these blighted areas into clean, safe places for your enjoyment. If a church or local group, or a collection of neighbors is interested in transforming a part of the City by hosting a clean-up event, there are just a few simple steps to follow:
- Contact Deanna Pressgrove, the Environmental Conservation & Public Works Manager, to schedule and coordinate your event.
- The City will provide you with the tools you will need to complete the project, such as shovels, trash bags, gloves and any other essential items.
- Once your event is done, make sure that all debris is properly bagged and placed at the curb for pickup by Public Works the next business day.
To host a clean-up event, call Cathedral City’s Environmental Conservation & Public Works Manager
