The City of Cathedral City and Target Stores are bringing National Night Out to Town Square, Tues. Aug. 4th, 6:30-9pm. National Night Out is a nationwide observance inviting residents to meet with its law enforcement and fire safety personnel, as well as the many programs the departments, respectively, offer throughout the community.
This year’s National Night Out is organized by the Cathedral City Police Department with the corporate support of Target Stores. Target Stores will be represented by Cathedral City, Palm Desert and La Quinta facilities. The Cathedral City Fire Department and its Code Enforcement Division will be supporting the event along with local businesses, and valuable non-profit community resources.
The family event begins at 6:30pm with free hot dogs and drinks for the public. Children can explore the police and fire departments equipment displays, interact with police officers and firefighters, and play in the city’s Fountain of Life. Target and other businesses will be giving away free items and provide drawing prizes throughout the evening.
