The Parks and Community Events Commission assess the recreational services and facilities of the community. It makes recommendations to the City Council on such matters as implementation of the Parks Master Plan, parks facilities and usage, funding and sponsorship solicitation, recreational programming, special events and cooperative partnerships with other agencies, businesses and organizations to leverage resources.

 

Meetings are the 4th Monday of the month (5:30pm at City Hall).

The public is always welcome to attend Parks and Community Events Commission meeting in person. There are two additional ways to watch Parks and Community Events Commission Meetings -- on television and online from this website.

On the fourth Monday of each month, Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission meetings are broadcast on Spectrum Channel 17.
