Environmental Conservation Division. Skilled identity thieves use a variety
of methods to gain access to your personal information, including sifting
through your trash looking for documents such as old tax filings, insurance
bills, check and bank statements, credit offers you get in the mail, and all
other personal documentation. To help prevent you from becoming a victim and
as a service to its residents, the City of Cathedral City will document
shredding events throughout the year.
