The GFOA honor is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, according to Tami Scott, administrative services director.

Excuse Our Dust!

All southbound lanes on Date Palm, between Perez Rd. and E. Palm Canyon will be closed effective Monday. All traffic will be redirected on Perez Rd. to Cathedral Canyon until further notice.

Work crews have been on scene since Mon. May 8th with sewer installation and paving upgrades. This project is part of the ongoing upgrades associated with the BCN Sheraton Resort and the Cove Sewer Project. One southbound lane was open to traffic; however, the continual traffic and drivers’ excessive speed have caused excessive vibration causing the sand beneath the street to erode.

Caution: When driving through construction zones, remember traffic fines double!
