COMMISSION/COMMITTEE VACANCIES
CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY

The City of Cathedral City is announcing vacancies on several Commissions/Committees with terms to begin on July 1, 2008. Please submit your application as soon as possible. THE DEADLINE TO APPLY IS 6:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, JUNE 3, 2008. Applications are available at the City Hall reception desk and can be downloaded from the the link below. For more information, please call the Office of the City Clerk at 760-770-0385 or the Deputy City Clerk at 760-770-0322. City Hall is open Monday thru Thursday; 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THAT CITY HALL IS CLOSED EVERY FRIDAY. Interviews will be conducted before the City Council on Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 during the Study Session of the City Council meeting after which appointments will be made. These appointments will be publicly announced during the evening session. All qualified persons are encouraged to apply.

PLANNING COMMISSION 3 Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m.
PUBLIC ARTS COMMISSION 3 Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
STREETS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION 2 Meets every month on the 3rd Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
MARKETING COMMITTEE 2 Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month
RIVERSIDE COUNTY LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE 1 Meets on an as needed basis
TRAILS MANAGEMENT SUBCOMMITTEE for COACHELLA VALLEY MULTIPLE SPECIES HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN 1 Meets on an as needed basis

Note: All of the above vacancies except the Public Arts Commission and Architectural Review Committee members are required to be residents of Cathedral City.
