E-mail Guidelines
All customer e-mail questions will be answered
through the Building Department counter. Because the counter is designed to
be the primary contact for anyone coming to the counter and responsible for
permit issuance functions, it supports a tremendous number of people utilizing
its services everyday.
With this in mind, here are some basic guidelines
for using our email services:

We will be answering e-mail in the order
in which they were received.

We will use the e-mail system to answer
small to medium sized Building questions that you did not get answered from
this website. For this reason, any large scale questions may require that
you visit the Building Department counter.

Due to time constraints, we will not be
able to look up information on a particular case or file. Therefore, all questions
concerning specific cases or files should be addressed at the Building Department
counter.

Please be patient while waiting for your e-mail
response. We are planning on adding a number of web applications to this site
in the future so that customers may be able to access a variety of Building
Department information from their computers.
